Comfort and Ergonomics
Reacting to the global 21st Century industry trends, the new G115 Evolution is now available with large glass cockpit displays. The two ELBIT displays provide the essential flight and aircraft information as PFD, whereas one display can be used as MFD, for additional system functions such as basic map information and/or an electronic checklist.
The new glass cockpit environment corresponds with the systems and display technology what future Military pilots will be facing throughout their future career. The G 115 offers a perfect elementary training environment, with the large side-by-side seating cockpit, providing ample comfort for any body length between 1.62 and 1.95 meters.
Fitted with a second throttle, the G 115 is specifically designed for the military training role. Generous shoulder room and spacious seating ensure pilots appropriate freedom of movement, also when wearing typical military equipment such as helmet and parachute. All switches and controls are ergonomically positioned within easy reach according to the latest Mill Spec Standards.
The panoramic glass canopy provides for an excellent visibility from both pilot positions, with an optimum of situational awareness. The combination of ergonomic cockpit design, side-by-side seating and an extensive range of equipment, represents optimum working conditions for every aspect of pilot screening and elementary flight training, including instrument flying, navigation training and the full scope of aerobatic maneuvers.
